Job description

As a Risk manager you will bring a strong combination of risk knowledge and data management skills. The role offers the chance to not only manage and process risk data but also to design and implement risk reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights. You will be responsible for the implementation of risk management processes,  and create clear, concise risk reports. This position allows you to have a direct impact on shaping risk management practices within the organization, working alongside senior leadership to define the strategic approach to risk mitigation.

 Responsibilities

  • Risk Management/reporting Identify, assess, and monitor risks within the business, particularly in relation to trading activities as well as develop and maintain a risk reporting framework

  • Data Processing & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and process risk data from various sources to create comprehensive reports and overviews

  • Stakeholder Communication: Present risk findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring they are equipped to make informed decisions.

  • Department Development: Collaborate closely with leadership to shape the risk function, setting up processes, controls, and structures from the ground up.

  • Risk Mitigation: Recommend and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks, ensuring that the organization remains compliant with regulatory requirements.

Job requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a risk management role, ideally within banking or trading environments in/with Fixed Income products.

  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and frameworks, with a good grasp of financial markets and trading products.

  • Proven experience in data processing, reporting, and analysis. Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights without being overly analytical.

  • Strong ability to present findings and reports in a clear, concise, and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where you can shape and grow the risk function.
