KYC Working student

SFI Green Markets connects innovative biofuel producers and traders with companies looking to reduce their carbon footprints. We facilitate the trade of sustainable biofuels and feedstocks, driving the transition to a greener future.

As a KYC Intern, you’ll dive into biofuel trading, assisting with client onboarding and KYC/CDD reviews. Gain hands-on experience in compliance and learn how KYC and anti-money laundering regulations influence the future of sustainable energy trading.

Key Responsibilities

• Dive into the exciting world of biofuel trading by helping our team connect with new clients and partners in the renewable energy space.
• Assist in the onboarding process for biofuel brokers and clients, making sure they have everything they need to get started trading sustainably.
• Help maintain our client relationships by handling day-to-day communications with biofuel brokers, keeping things smooth and efficient.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Environmental Studies, Compliance, Renewable Energy, or a related field like Business or Economics.
• Passionate about biofuels, sustainability, and compliance, with a strong desire to learn about KYC and anti-money laundering processes.
• No prior experience needed – we’re looking for a student who’s eager to learn and grow in the exciting world of biofuel trading and financial compliance.
• Great communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Availability for a part-time role for at least 1 year or longer
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus, but not required).
